On Generalizations.

The often-repeated foolishness that generalizations are inherently bad is a myth perpetuated by people who don't understand what a generalization is. If you don't believe me, stick your hand in a flame.

What's that you say? Fire is too hot to stick your hand in? I could be wrong, but that sounds like one of those 'evil' generalizations to me...
